Who I AM

My name is Lina Chang. I am a graduate student of the University of Texas at San Antonio. This is my fifth year living in San Antonio, Texas. I have come since 2016 and fallen in love with this diverse community.

Originally, I am from Taipei, Taiwan, and had a career as Registered Dietitian. During my practice in Taiwan, I realized that implementing health promotion/disease prevention programs was the key to achieve health equity, eliminate disparities, and improve the health of all groups, which was a lack of focus in Taiwan. Thus, I decided to move. 

 
Attending the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at UTSA has provided me various opportunities to strengthen my facility for community-based service and prepare me as an entry-level Register Dietitian in the United States.
